Spyder Hosts Black Carpet Event for Season 10 Premiere of The Black Ink Crew, with Attendance of NYC Celebrities
On May 15th, 2023, “Tribeca Social” in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood was the site of a special event hosted by Celebrity tattooist and Black Ink cast member Spyder. The gathering was held to celebrate the long-awaited premiere of Season 10, which was unexpected by many fans due to the absence of Black Ink franchise owner Ceaser from the show and the separation from the VH1 Network. Attendees included fans, friends, family, and cast members, making the night a memorable one for all.
The latest episode of the renowned show unveiled a clear division within the team. While Puma and Teddy, who have been a part of the show since season one, wanted to continue the Black Ink legacy by creating another shop under the same name, without Ceaser, Spyder remained loyal to Ceaser, who is the only current “Black Ink Brooklyn” employee. Spyder was against the idea of starting another shop without Ceaser, especially under Puma’s leadership, given that he is neither an artist nor the founder of the franchise. The other cast members had mixed feelings about the plan. It’s safe to say that this season will be full of excitement and drama.
Distinguished guests who attended the event were cast members such as Krystal, Rok, Draya, Rich and Jahnovaa, alongside notable personalities such as showrunner and journalist Kim Osorio, Playboy Bunny Anna Strindberg, media personality Holiday The Golden Child, real estate mogul Marc Lippman, and celebrity attorney Stephanie Ovadia. The event was also graced by Giacomo, the head of sales for Cheyenne Tattoo equipment, and many others. Chasity Cox PR and Chase Simms Movement powered the event, while Black Ink Crew New York airs every Monday at 8 pm.
