  • As a multi-entrepreneur what inspired you to develop your company? I felt like there was no one I wanted to be or look up to growing up so I had to become HIM. I want to show that little creative little boy or girl they are just as special. To never give up on your dreams and goals.
  • How have your priorities changed from when you first started your journey into entrepreneurship? When I first started it was more about getting my name out there and about chasing the “bag”. Now it’s about re branding and helping others to learn and grow while being creative.
  • Knowing what you know now, is there anything you would have done differently when you were first starting out? Yes I would have interned more and researched more before I hit the pavement. I feel like you should learn as much as possible before taking on the project alone. And save as much as possible because you never know what’s around the corner. So you want to be prepared but once your a entrepreneur it’s all on you.
  • What challenges did you have to overcome at the beginning of your journey? Please trusting my styling eye. And also learning how to leave the drama at home. No one wants to hire you and your baggage.
  • What is unique about your business veres any other platform? I’m looking to building a stylist home for up and coming stylist there is not a lot of places for stylist to call home like there is for hair and makeup artist . I also creatively direct, act and shoot and record. So it’s a one stop shop.
  • What advice would you give to someone who is trying to become an entrepreneur or work in the industry? Create your own lane , plan out the way you decide to take over. And NEVER STOP CREATING.
  • Entrepreneurship is never easy. A lot of people don’t have the capital to bring their business to light. How did you raise funding? Honestly I went homeless in beginning because I didn’t have a plan but with God and putting a plan in action I was able to get out that hole and never look back. There are many ways to style to make money. I started to organize closets and person shop on the side for clients as well.
  • What strategies did you first use to market your brand? MySpace and regular fashion shows held by myself.
  • How do you define success? If you wake up happy to do what you love doing. And if your own goals are being met. I say pretty successful if you ask me.
  • What have you enjoyed most about starting your own company? The perks traveling the world , meeting new people being able to help others and not pay for a flight when styling.
  • What are the qualities of a good entrepreneur? A Hard worker , a smart work , takes care of the job but never forgets themselves or others in the process.
  • What are you working on now? A clothing line for NYFW September 22, and other ways to bring stylist/ influencers and others together to create some amazing art.
