FGM: Its an honor to sit down with you all . Tell us a little about your brand and how you’ve come to this vastly successful peek in your career .

Answer: Thank you for having me. Leigh’s Exclusive is an online boutique. I offer cosmetics, stylish handbags and accessories. I literally am the female plug ( laughs). I started doing the foot work like vendor events , photo-shoots and social media posting about 2–3 years ago. I’ve just been making sure to keep the brand busy and involved in all aspects.

FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects that you most enjoy working on?

Answer: My clients are all female based and all different ages as well.

FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?

Answer: I like to make people feel good , make them happy about themselves and to empower all. I know with my brand I accomplish that. From customers commenting or me witnessing first hand as I am delivering their order to them. To know I am bringing my customers happiness and empowerment means so much to me.

FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination to continue as an entrepreneur

Answer: In 2017 felt like my whole world did a 360. I made a very in the heat of the moment decision and quit my job. Afterwards, I was in debt , depressed and didn’t like my new job. I was mad at myself for how I handled the situation that in all, resulted in me to put a pause on my dreams. I felt I allowed someone to take my business away from me because of how I decided to go about things. But with God , everything is possible. I started praying more , being more grateful and working with the hand I had to play. Fast forward, my old job called to hire me back , I was able to pay off my debt and start up my business again. You don’t quit and you don’t stress on what you can’t control but you work toward what you can control. I could of quit the whole business itself but instead I took a pause and came back hungrier and determined.
