FGM: Its an honor to sit down with you all . Tell us a little about your brand and how you’ve come to this vastly successful peek in your career .

Answer: Our brand, All Things Cherish is owned by two best friends- Kadine and Kimberly. The name Cherish was nicknamed to Kadine by Kimberly and have sentimental meaning. Our sense of fashion are different in some ways. Kadine is a bit edgy while Kimberly is a bit calm. We both love to stand out and look different, whether edgy or calm. We strive to be different and that’s what makes us successful. We never try to do what everyone is doing. Our success didn’t come overnight and we still have a long

way to go. This is our true passion and we love everything about fashion. We tried different areas in fashion until we finally found something that works for us. Every time we failed at something, God gives us something better. Our Instagram has grown to over 50k followers in less than a year. It was all destined to be. God said go. We pray hard and remain humble.

FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects that you most enjoy working on?

Answer: Our clients are all women from all over the world who aims to stand out with unique fashion. We enjoy finding unique pieces. Anything that looks different, ATC will sell it. Lol

FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?

Answer: Our slogan is “A Different Shopping Experience” which is pretty much self explanatory. We strive to bring pieces for women who have a unique sense of fashion. We have pieces that you will never find in a normal boutique. Pieces that make other turn around and get a second look! From the moment customers create an account with us or their first interaction, we aim the create the best experience possible.

FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination to continue as an entrepreneur

Answer: I believe COVID-19 was a wake up call for everyone. When everything started shutting down, we didn’t believe quitting was an option. We actually went harder. There were very slow sale days but we still had a smile on our face and kept pushing. Eventually things picked up and it’s been up ever since.

FGM: Give me the three best qualities of your brand

Answer: unique, Black women owned, quality clothing.

FGM: Give me an example of when you worked irregular hours?

Answer: for our BFCM sale, we stood on our feet and packed orders for 12 hours straight. We mailed over 300 orders in one day. That was the highest peak for us because we were still catching up from our anniversary sale. We were determined to get all orders out in a timely manner.

FGM: Being an entrepreneur is a 24/7 job, how did you get ready for that?

Answer: Day by day we adjust. No one taught us anything. We did everything on our own. From building our website to growing on social media. We learned from our own mistakes and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

FGM: How did you acquire the ability ability to work under pressure to beat meet deadlines as a entrepreneur ?

Answer: We’ve learned that rushing only create more stress and more problems. Having structure in our business is key to reduce stress, anxiety, and errors. Having a solid team who respect deadlines is also key. We all have to be pulling together in one direction.

FGM: What is your favorite inspirational point, place, to develop new brand developments?

Answer: Social media. Most will deny it but that’s where a lot of us get inspire daily. Even if we see a particular design and add our own touch to it, we were inspired somehow.

FGM: Which current public figure are you inspired by or appreciate the most?

Answer: I’m inspired by a few very humble boutique owners I’ve came across on instagram such as Kay and Company. I’m so inspired by her story and how she treats other. Ms. Bling also inspires me. Always sending positive energy, love, and light to all queens.

How do you handle stress ?

Answer: by taking a break! Plenty times I just exit the email when we’re being yelled at. To avoid yelling back, I just respond later. When we are tired and stressed with orders, we take a little break then resume. Having self care days is also very important. We love the spa!

FGM: What are the three qualities you feel an entrepreneur must have ?

Answer: An entrepreneur must be humble and able to take advise from others. That’s first and foremost. We all learn from one another. We are big on being unique and creativity. You must be able to create a lane for yourself and be known for something. Fashion is broad. Make your mark. Lastly, money management. You must learn to separate business from personal expenses or you’ll find yourself at a standstill where your business stop flourishing. Take your time and do things the right way. It is not a rat race.

FGM: Where do you see your business in 10 years? How do you plan to get there?

Answer: I see All Things Cherish boutiques all over the world. We dream to reach our full potential. We want to be in countries no one thought they’d see us. We want to be on a level where we can provide jobs for minorities and give back to our communities. Prayer and hard work will get us there. Praying is definitely a part of our business plan. Humility is also a major key to success. No man is an island. No man stands alone.
